How does your donation help?

We will use your donation to ensure treatment for birds and animals that are in serious condition due to an accident or bad living conditions.

We also make sure that stray and abandoned cats and dogs that need our help are spayed or neutered. Our aim is to achieve a situation where birds and animals that  are dependent on us do not suffer unnecessarily, are healthy, and do not reproduce needlessly.

During 2009-2015 we received 27,435 calls about birds and animals in need of help. We directly helped 8308 animals and covered the cost of their treatment in total of 240,244 euros. Please help us continue our activities with your donations!

The capacity of the Estonian Society for the Protection of Animals to help animals depends mainly on the donations made by generous people. Donations allow us to help animals, supervise the protection of animals, inform the public, train people and take part in legislative drafting. We also use the donations to help other animal welfare organisations all over Estonia.

The organization is included on the list of income tax incentive non-profit organizations and the donors will get back the income tax paid from their donation and the donations made by companies are tax-free (Estonian Income Tax Act § 49). Read more about taxes: Donating and taxes.
