Estonian Human Rights Centre: “Make a donation to support equal treatment in Estonia!”
How does your donation help?
The Estonian Human Rights Centre stands for equal treatment in Estonia. Our goal is reduce and acknowledge discrimination in our society. We also want every person to be guaranteed the right to apply for asylum in Estonia and to receive legal assistance in exercising this right.
Your donations will help us directly with four challenges: to protect victims of discrimination; to lobby for amendment of the existing discriminating traditions and laws; to take human rights cases to Estonian and European courts, if necessary; and to distribute information about refugees.
The Estonian Human Rights Centre is an independent foundation operating in public interest whose goal is the further protection of human rights in Estonia and elsewhere. The Centre’s mission is to actively further protect human rights in Estonia via the development of human rights policies and law, and to provide information to the public, organise public debates, give advice and help with protection of interests and strategic litigation in order to complete this mission.
The organization is included on the list of income tax incentive non-profit organizations and the donors will get back the income tax paid from their donation and the donations made by companies are tax-free (Estonian Income Tax Act § 49). Read more about taxes: Donating and taxes.
