Youth to School recruits people with leadership potential to teach for two years at schools where their help is most needed. Your support will help us to bring leadership to schools and work towards a school system where all children have the opportunity to maximize their potential.

With the help of funds raised in the Donation Environment, we will find the people with the record of achievement who are interested both in developing their leadership potential and in expanding the educational opportunities for the students.

Youth to School program trains the program participants and supports them throughout the two program years. Participants work full time as teachers at schools where new teachers are most needed. They learn to lead themselves and others and experience the possibility of change in the classrooms. The program alumni continue contributing to the development of Estonian educational system, either from within the schools or public or private sector, with 65% of alumni continuing careers in the field of education.

The Youth to School Foundation was established in 2006 by the Good Deed Foundation and Swedbank. Through our program, 108 committed individuals have found their way to education, motivating and teaching over 9250 children in schools all over Estonia.

The organization is included on the list of income tax incentive non-profit organizations and the donors will get back the income tax paid from their donation and the donations made by companies are tax-free (Estonian Income Tax Act § 49). Read more about taxes: Donating and taxes.
