Dharma SA „We support growth of children and cover essential expenses of families."
How does your donation help?
The mission of Dharma is to care about every child from birth until they fly the nest. In order to do this, we collect donations in support of the children and families with children who need help for one reason or another.
With your help, we can cover essential expenses to help children and families cope with daily life as: 20 euros a month gives a child the chance to pursue a hobby, spend a day at a summer camp and buy the school supplies they need; 50-60 euros makes it possible for the family to buy a new cooker on which to make food for their children.
We also support the activities of support persons. 50-70 euros allow us to provide the family with a support person who helps them rearrange their life, overcome the crisis or at least reduce its impact.
The Dharma Foundation has been developing support services for families with children since 2005. Dharma has trained more than 400 family support persons and 150 of them on average are active every year. In 2013 the number of families who coped better with the help of support persons was220 all over Estonia, and it has grown over the years.
