The Estonian Association of Big Families dreams of an Estonia where big families could lead great lives and feel secure. We know that our country is home to a lot of kind-hearted people, as we have met them, talked to them and even done a lot of good deed with them.
We collect donations to support development opportunities for children of big families. For example, by donating 15 euros, you will help a child take part in a sports competition, with 20 euros, you can help finance a monthly payment of a hobby club; and with a 30-50-euro donation you support youth camp participation that a large family may not be able to cover from their own budget. Donate and contribute to children’s joy of movement!
In 2016, the Estonian Association of Big Families supported 29 young person’s effort in hobby activities by financing their purchase of a musical instrument or sports equipment. Additionally, we also compensated participation fees for sports classes for 302 kids, by partially covering their monthly fees.
The association, which was created in 1996, values large families and implements its activities based on the needs and interests of a big family. We have member organisations operating in all counties, while keeping in mind the needs of that particular county. There are about 4,000 families in Estonia that have four or more children.
The organization is included on the list of income tax incentive non-profit organizations and the donors will get back the income tax paid from their donation and the donations made by companies are tax-free (Estonian Income Tax Act § 49). Read more about taxes: Donating and taxes.
