How does your donation help?
As members of society, we’re all responsible for stopping bullying. We need your support to help children focus on learning and growing, not worrying and coping with bullying.
Almost 26% of Estonian schools have joined the KiVa programme. 125 schools and places of study are committed to teaching students socio-emotional skills and systematically reducing bullying. Today, KiVa supports the wellbeing and safety of more than 47,000 students in Estonia.
It’s crucial that all schools in Estonia are given the opportunity to join the KiVa programme in order to deal with bullying prevention and bullying incidents in a systematic and evidence-based way. We need the support of donors to add new programmes to KiVa and to continue supporting the KiVa network of schools – to ensure that the programme is implemented as efficiently and effectively as possible.
Each of us can make an affordable donation to support children and young people’s mental health and help prevent unfortunate outcomes. The consistent and high-quality implementation of the KiVa programme can significantly reduce bullying in schools, preventing the long-lasting and damaging negative impact of bullying on mental health.

Vaikuseminutid: Support the children's and teachers' mental well-being in schools and kindergartens
Surveys show that 35% of Estonian students rate their psychological wellbeing as low. Concern, anxiety and fear have increased as a result of the events of recent years. The information overload makes it hard for children to concentrate and cope with the pressures of everyday life. The lack of coping skills results in attention and behavioural problems, low school satisfaction and high school stress (e.g. bullying and dropping out).
