CatRescue and Cat Safehouse “Help a Kitty Find a Home!”
How does your donation help?
CatRescue “Help a Kitty Find a Home!”
There are ca 100 abandoned cats and kittens in our safehouses at any one time, all looking for permanent homes. The animals are kept there until new homes are found for them: none are put down. Seventy volunteers look after them and help them find new homes.
The cats are treated for parasites and for any health issues they may have. All cats are also vaccinated and microchipped. All cats of suitable age are spayed/neutered to avoid reproduction.
Your donations will give homeless cats a new chance:
- Vaccinating and microchipping ten cats – 250 euros
- Spaying three cats – 175 euros
- Neutering three cats – 100 euros
The cats come to us via animal lovers, other animal protection organisations, from clinics and off the streets. We believe that we can reduce the number of strays and help improve pet-keeping culture. We would like to thank everyone who makes donations and supports our goals!
CatRescue have been operating since 2006 and the number of cats and kittens who have found homes with our help exceeds 5000.
The organization is included on the list of income tax incentive non-profit organizations and the donors will get back the income tax paid from their donation and the donations made by companies are tax-free (Estonian Income Tax Act § 49). Read more about taxes: Donating and taxes.
