What does the school of the future look like? At least a part of learning will take place online. Let us together take advantage of the technology and organise online guest lessons in the form of live YouTube streams where students can meet various experts and talk about online safety, career opportunities, invention and many other topics.
Your donation helps us find an inspiring guest teacher who will provide an online lesson on a current topic, with practical examples. The lessons are organised as live YouTube streams and are equally available to all students across Estonia.
We would need €500 for each guest lesson, which would pay for a high-quality live stream and the practical teaching aids of the teachers. Every donation counts, because we will make the lesson happen whenever we raise another €500.
Online guest lessons increase students’ motivation for learning
The previous live streams of the online guest lessons have been viewed over 500,000 times by students of grades 1-12 from 80% of Estonian schools. Teachers believe that the online guest lessons help students get answers to questions that are important to them. In addition, it is a way to activate students who are less involved in conventional learning. Teachers find the lessons helpful for discussing current topics and learning about new teaching methods.
Guest lessons bring real life to the school
The NPO Back to School promotes real life education through the involvement of volunteer guest teachers in school lessons.

Youth to School (project Tagasi Kooli)
Back to School
The mission of Back to School e-lessons is to create high quality teaching materials to aid teachers in developing competences and life skills of their pupils. The initiative was born at Youth to School Foundation (in Estonian: SA Noored Kooli) which has now turned into a platform with the purpose of strengthening the cooperation between schools and the rest of the society.
