How does your donation help?
We support and foster the development of children left without parental care all over Estonia, so that they could become successful and independent young adults We offer training events, encouragement and acknowledgement to employees of substitute homes.
We use the donations to organise youth trainings and seminars that help people who have been abandoned and who have experienced trauma, increase their self-esteem by teaching them to keep a positive attitude to life and how not to feel like a victim. We also organise trainings and seminars for employees to improve cooperation, their working conditions and skills, which in turn create better prerequisites for supporting young people raised in substitute homes.
Established in 2009, the aim of the Estonian Association of Care Placement Workers is to unite the educators of substitute homes and people who wish to have a say in improving the welfare of children growing up in children’s homes, as well as to improve ensure that these kids become well-adjusted people ready for independent life. .
The organization is included on the list of income tax incentive non-profit organizations and the donors will get back the income tax paid from their donation and the donations made by companies are tax-free (Estonian Income Tax Act § 49). Read more about taxes: Donating and taxes.
