How does your donation help?

By helping people to improve the condition of their teeth, which enables them resume normal eating patterns, become socially active, apply for jobs that require face to face communication and increase their confidence, we provide the beneficiaries with an opportunity to feel that they are again equal members of society.

Healthy teeth are essential, as they are related to a person’s general health status. Dental treatment has significant direct and indirect effects on the affected persons and their family members.

Many people with problematic teeth do not have the means to afford treatment. When even people who earn average wages in Estonia complain about the high cost of dental care, it is clear that those earning close to the minimum wage would struggle even more when it comes to paying for dental treatments. If the choice is between buying food for yourself and your children or going to a dentist, food will always be the priority.

Our target is to raise €25,000. This would cover the dental care costs for several young women.

The charity foundation provides support to cover dental care costs for the least privileged persons in Estonia and raises public awareness of the importance of oral hygiene and dental health.

• A donation of €5 would pay, for instance, visit to a dentist or for debridement of one tooth.
• A donation of €10 would pay, for instance, for a dentist’s consultation, a dental anaesthesia injection, temporary filling or removal of old root filling (from 1 canal).
• A donation of €25 would pay, for instance, for compilation of a written treatment plan, an oral cavity examination and consultation, one surface filling or a silicone mould for prosthetics.
