The Estonian Green Movement (EGM) ensures that decisions with significant impact – whether in the Parliament, ministries, local governments, or the European Union – cannot ignore the environment. Our work focuses on advocacy, meaning we speak up for the environment where nature has no voice, but silence would result in harm to both people and the planet.

EGM’s experts read lengthy regulations and draft laws, attend meetings, propose solutions, and put pressure on decision-makers to ensure that today’s decisions and laws do not permit pollution but instead create opportunities for preserving biodiversity.

By donating to EGM, you support a cleaner future. Your donations allow our team to consistently focus on their work in three key areas of expertise: energy and climate, phosphorite and natural resources, and economy and consumption.

• 25 euros helps to cover travel costs to attend a meeting with officials and decision-makers.
• 75 euros helps to cover part of our office expenses in Tartu, enabling our team to work together and collaborate face-to-face.
• 250 euros allows our advocacy expert to thoroughly analyze a legislative proposal and provide feedback if there are risks of environmental harm or opportunities for better environmental protection.
