How does your donation help?

Based on the Scouts laws and oath, it is the mission of the Estonian Scout Association to help young people further with their hobby education, to help them to include in social life, which benefits society as a whole in the long run.

We hope to help 100 disadvantaged children and young people take part in ESA events with the donations. Every year, we organise ca 20 national events (incl. training) and we also have weekly Scouts meetings all over Estonia. The ESA has made a major contribution to the development of the Estonian national youth work strategy, and in 2013 the organisation won the annual UNICEF Bluebird Prize for its outstanding social activities.

The Estonian Scout Association is a national youth organisation established in 1995 which offers informal education to children from the age of six. The ESA has grown into one of the biggest children’s organisations in Estonia.

The organization is included on the list of income tax incentive non-profit organizations and the donors will get back the income tax paid from their donation and the donations made by companies are tax-free (Estonian Income Tax Act § 49). Read more about taxes: Donating and taxes.
