The aim of the Estonian Scout Association is to create a diverse environment for young people living in Estonia, so that they could acquire the courage to challenge themselves, find their strengths, and to become active, well-adjusted and open-minded young adults as they grow up.

Being a scout offers the kids something very important – a sense of belonging – in a group of other kids their age, as well as in a countrywide organisation. We also support scouts’ contributions to the local community, in order to support their journey of becoming active young citizens.

The following are the main keywords in the development of young people: cooperation, helpfulness, skills, consideration, awareness, confidence and independence. All those keywords will help youngsters throughout their entire lives and keep their minds bright in all ages.

A lot of emphasis is placed on learning about nature and protecting it during all activities; children learn about environmentally friendly behaviour from a very young age. It is also important that young people learn how the skills needed for surviving in nature.

Donations are needed so that disadvantaged children and young people could take part in our events for free, so that the kids of families in difficult economic situation could also benefit from the summers camps, training and other fun events organised by the scouts. We organise a multitude of events, during which youngsters can test their knowledge, learn important skills from one another and find new friends.

The Estonian Scout Association, which was established in 1995, is one of the biggest youth organisations in Estonia, bringing together almost 1,200 members across Estonia. The association offers informal education to children from the age of six.

The organization is included on the list of income tax incentive non-profit organizations. Read more about taxes here: Donations and taxes.
