Estonia is rich in birds, however, suitable habitats for birds in forests, fields, coasts and wetlands are becoming increasingly scarce due to human activities. 69% of the bird species nesting in Estonia are in an unfavourable status. The objective of the Estonian Ornithological Society is ensure the wellbeing of the birds nesting and migrating here.

Happy Hops NGO: Let’s Support Abandoned and Mistreated Rabbits Together

Rabbits are now the third most popular pets in Estonia, but they are not easy to care for. They are active, headstrong animals that need space and stimulation. When expectations don’t match reality, they are often abandoned. Misinformation about rabbit care also causes serious problems. The Happy Hops shelter was created to help abandoned and mistreated rabbits.
