How does your donation help?

What does the school of the future look like? At least a part of learning will take place online. Let us together take advantage of the technology and organise online guest lessons in the form of live YouTube streams where students can meet various experts and talk about online safety, career opportunities, invention and many other topics.

Your donation helps us find an inspiring guest teacher who will provide an online lesson on a current topic, with practical examples. The lessons are organised as live YouTube streams and are equally available to all students in Estonia.

We would need €450 for each guest lesson, which would pay for a high-quality live stream and the practical teaching aids of the teachers. Every donation counts, because we will make the lesson happen whenever we raise another €450.

Online guest lessons increase students’ motivation for learning

The previous live streams of the online guest lessons have been viewed over 200,000 times by students of grades 1-12 from 80 % of the schools. Teachers believe that the online guest lessons help students get answers to questions that are important for them. In addition, it is a way to activate students who are less involved in conventional learning. Teachers find the lessons helpful for discussing current topics and learning about new teaching methods.

Guest lessons bring real life to the school

The NPO Back to School promotes real life education through the involvement of volunteer guest teachers in school lessons. More information on the Back to School website. The organisation is included on the list of income tax incentive non-profit organizations. Read more about taxes here: Donations and taxes.
